Dark mode has seen its arrival for some applications in the version of Windows 10 Anniversary, but many requests have been made to Microsoft to provide dark mode also to Windows Explorer, since Windows 1809 it is done!

Via the graphical interface

To activate it, go to the settings

Click on Customization

Puic click on Colors on the left

Then under "Choose your default application mode" and select "Dark"

Hey here!

By the registry

Create the DWORD (32-bit) key "AppsUseLightThemes" with the value "0" under

 HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Themes \ Personalize

Or by using the following command:

add HKCU \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Themes \ Personalize \ v AppsUseLightTheme / t REG_DWORD / d 0 / f

Then close and log in again
